Pacific Galleries . . . a quick update.

Pacific Galleries in Seattle, WA, is really my most

challenging venue of all.  With over 800

dealers, there's a lot of competition

for the customers' attention!

I apologize for the poor quality of these photos.

Forgot my camera--again (!), so the colors

are off (too yellow).  But overall

it's a good, clean *redo* of

the booth, and I'm

hoping it gets

attention!

Most people outside of this industry view it

as so *romantic* and *fun* . . . which

can certainly be true.   But it's the

deep passion that keeps me

going in this very tough

and sometimes quite

harsh business.

 * * * NO ROOM FOR SISSIES!!! * * *

I've never worked harder in my life--nor have

I felt so personally fulfilled.  When you're

doing something you  L O V E , there's

still a price to be paid; but it pays

you back in far more than

just money.  My heart

is full--if not my

pocketbook!

If you haven't been to Pac Gal in awhile, do

stop by and see what's new--it's always

changing and evolving.    You

sure won't be bored!  Make

sure you have plenty of

 time to wander!!!!

you need a little "R & R"!!!

. . . Ruffles & Rust, that is!!

My space has been refreshed with new finds,

big and small!!!

So come in and check up on all my new schtuff!!!  Several

other vendors have brought in treasures too!

Easter is popping up with the

daffodils . . . lamps,

small painted

furniture

* * *

Industrial bins, vintage flash cards,

bird cages (yep, more!)

. . . children's vintage watering cans, ironstone,

wire baskets, feather fans, etc.

Best reasons to be part of the Lynden Show

I'm just pleased as punch to receive the "Best Booth" award for the Spring Show

in Lynden.    It's a wonderful acknowledgement of all the hard work we

expend trying to make things as visually appealing as possible (quite

a task when you consider the *range* of items I usually bring!).

But, really, THE reason for being part of this charming,

intimate and somewhat *old-fashioned* show is

just *old-fashioned* friendship with

people like Linda Bylsma.

Linda--I LOVE this

pic of you!!!!

This beautiful smile says it all . . . come to Lynden--we're still in biz for

the next TWO days.  Relax, take your time and just experience

the beautiful spirit of the beautiful people in this show.

It's a treasure of an event in a small and caring

town that is rare among our culture

these days.  I'm having a

great time & you

will too!!

Okay, just a little bit more eye candy . . . and I've GOT to get some sleep.

We're open from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.  tomorrow

and 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Saturday!

appreciation . . .

There's so much to feel good about after the 2nd Saturdayz Market

this past weekend.  It's quite hard to know where to start!

Gratitude for the continuing business our loyal

customers and friends bring us each month.

Gratitude for the well-being of friends

 who have been put through

very rough times lately.

( Jill, Deb & Bob,

Virginia . . . )

Gratitude for visits from people I totally respect,

like Celeste and Dan of Chaps/Cake and

Lana and Erika of De Ja Neu (all

the way from Spokane)   . . .

 a true testament to all

 the work that Linda

and Deb have

been up to!

Gratitude for the help from my mate Jim and our son

Daniel . . . without whose wonderful help and

great attitude would've made for a much

more difficult (and not as lovely)

set-up.  (Daniel is NOT

afraid of heights!)

Gratitude for the continuing opportunity

to creatively make a living in these

 (still) tough economic times,

 doing what is dear to

my heart!!!!!

THANK YOU * THANK YOU * THANK YOU

2nd Saturdayz . . . this is a BIGGIE!!

THIS Saturday, March 12, at 8:00 a.m. for early birds . . .

Warren Magnuson Park

at Sand Point . . . in the Workshop

of Hangar 30.

* * *

If you've not yet attended this gorgeous market,

don't miss this one!!!

* * *

After just completing the giant Portland

Expo, we're really looking

forward to reconnecting with all our

friends and customers here

at *home*.  Expo was a GREAT show!!!

But the real fun occurs in the smaller,

more intimate venues . . . "birds

of a feather flock together!"

See ya Saturday, little chickadees!!!!
