Packing for the Lynden Craft & Antique Show

Just a few comments on a handful of items going to the 

Lynden Craft & Antique Show, starting

Thursday, March 15th.

Of course we'll have our usual palette of neutrals, grays, creams,

whites and blacks . . . but we're gonna knock

it up a notch.  Baby, I'm feeling a

bit BLUE!!!!!!

How 'bout you???!!!!

One thing I LOVE about Lynden customers . . . they've

never been afraid of color!!!!  Makes me

happy just looking at these plates

resting in the old, chippy

doll cradle!!!!

This old, French Jumeau doll body will be right at home with

my growing collection of doll heads and other

and other "friends."  LOL!!!!

This magnificent, DOUBLE-SIDED sign will be perfect

for someone's cabin or lodge-style home!

Lynden Craft & Antique Show: An Ormolulu Retrospective . . . .

We are CELEBRATING!!!!  Over 12 years ago, we entered the

vintage show circuit by joining the Lynden Craft and

Antique Show in Lynden, Washington.

Didn't have a *clue* how to do 

a proper show setup!!! 

Nevertheless, Judy and Trudy--the sweetest show promoters

anywhere--gave us an "Honorable Mention" ribbon

for our setup.  Truly, our booth didn't 

deserve that ribbon, but the 

encouragement they

gave us was a

"hook."

Year after year, we've come back to their show, trying

to do a better job of merchandise/display of our

vintage and antique wares.  There's been

a lot of trial and error--probably

mostly *error*, LOL!!!!!!

These show veterans really know how to treat people.

And  that's  why we  keep  coming  back!!!

Judy & Trudy are kind, loyal and true

friends who care deeply about

their vendors and their

community!!!

This is a sweet, traditional show, based on traditional values. 

We can always depend on seeing the smiling faces

of friends  we've known through the years, 

even if it's the only time of year 

we ever see them!!!!

Judy and Trudy *ALWAYS* have a beautiful

luncheon buffet laid out for the hard-

working vendors to enjoy!!!

They understand how

much work goes

into setup!!!

HAYSTACK ANTIQUES in Bellevue . . . Ormolulu's newest home!!!

We're truly THRILLED to announce that Haystack Antiques in

 Bellevue  is our brand new home!!!!!   This premier mall

really is a "needle in a haystack" when it comes

to finding the best*of*the*best in 

vintage & antiques!!!

Many of you know that I really enjoy writing . . . and I wish

there was  time to say so much that is on my mind

about this exciting new venue

for us.  Please be

patient!!

Life has thrown us a few curve balls lately, and time is at 

a premium with handling the stuff that is not

so much fun . . . but we'll be back 

at it very soon!

Another positive note: we're in the process of packing for the

fabulous  Palmer-Wirfs Portland Expo Show

this week . . . gotta get off the computer

and go gitter-done!!!!

We'd like to thank the fabulous Debbie Nordstrom at 

Haystack Antiques for believing in us and

welcoming us so warmly to her

magnificent group of

vendors!!!!

We'd also to thank many of our industry friends who have 

shown their support by paving the way for us to be 

included in this great, new venture!

2nd Saturdayz Urban Market . . . How Sweet It Is!!!!!

It's always good to have something *sweet* to look forward to,

don't you think?!  Well, this coming 2nd Saturdayz Urban Market

at Warren G. Magnuson Park (Workshop/Hangar 30) in Seattle

promises to be filled with sweetness and love!!!!

Saint Valentine will be there in many splendiferous forms!!!

With the nasty winter behind us, signs of welcome spring are

popping up everywhere . . . along with the weeds

in our gardens.  I think we're all confused;

but, hey, I'm NOT complainin'!!  

So grab your bag and head to Sand Point this Saturday morning . . . 

early buying starts at 8:00 a.m.  You KNOW the "early

bird gets the worm"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
