. . . . . Dancing by *Moon* Light . . . . .

This beauty is Moon Mullens . . . proprietress of Rose Hill Manor

bed and breakfast of Index, Washington.  We were

invited to her annual summer soiree, and

what an event it was--even in the

RAIN (what summer?!)!!

Word of caution:  Have plenty of napkins handy to

catch the drool off your chin!!!

Moon has created garden *rooms* that left me feeling

absolutely captivated . . . and happily so!

Statues and fountains and gates . . . oh, my!!

Birdhouses and fences and patio tables . . . oh my!!!

Concrete and brick and iron . . . oh my!!!

Inside the house . . . you will be transported yet again!!!

Moon has been a great customer of mine over the years.

I can't say how rewarding it is to see treasures

from my trove included in her stunning

vignettes.  Her combinations

are so artistic, no?!

Hold on a minute . . . sorry, I needed that napkin!!!

Chandelier LOVE!!!  Moon is not

afraid of color--she's a

genius at mixing

things up!

At the same time, she manages to create soft, serene

spaces within feet of the color spots.  WOW!

I could't resist capturing these darling little girls.  Antique chair

and Apple iPad . . . but of course!!!!

. . . beyond adorable!!!

Mountain and forest views from the windows,

perfectly framed-in-vintage everywhere!

This Chinese lamp with lace thrown over the

shade is fascinating at night!

Words not needed whatsoever . . . !

After the gardens, the house tour, the exquisite food and

fabulous punches (in antique bowls of course),

the music brought down the house!

Sorry no picture of Beth Whitney (acoustic), but this

photo is 20 Riverside--I couldn't sit still!!

Moon and Marvin, THANKS SO MUCH for an absolutely

unforgettable evening.  We loved being with you!!

Lovely woman, and such a cool house. I really like the mismatched lighting above the clawfoot tub!

Did Moon know Gloria H.? Seems to me they would have been kindred souls, tho Gloria's style was much different...it was unique, too. Moon is a wonderfully creative person with a fabulous flair, thanks for the tour. Jan
